The Department of Sociology at Queens College
currently has 26 full-time members and more than 30 part-time
members.
With more than six hundred undergraduate sociology
majors, it is responsible for approximately
15% of all undergraduate degrees delivered at the college.
The Department has an active and successful Master's
Program in Applied Social Research, and many of our faculty
teach in the Sociology
Ph.D. Program at the City University Graduate Center in Manhattan.
