Alpha Gamma of New York is the Queens College Chapter of Alpha Kappa Delta, an International Sociology Honor Society founded in
1920. This chapter was restored during the Spring 1994 semester.
Membership is limited to Sociology majors and minors at the junior or senior
level who have obtained at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA and 3.0 Sociology GPA.
